10. Purple Sunday
I woke up at 4am because I know Dad has something for me to print before going to church. Also I wanted ample time to get ready as it usually takes me more than an hour to dress up and "prettify" myself. But I ended up powdering my nose in Se's car instead. It was such a stressful morning. But none of that were present during our family's TV time that afternoon. I feel warm and fuzzy just by looking at this picture.

Warm and fuzzy and well... I feel so high schoolish right now! (I know I have got to come to my senses...)
9. I Know..I need a Camera
Avatar Day - finally! After days of bantering each other about when to watch the well talked about flick, we finally were able to catch it! We (the girls) had our dgroup at April's place that morning, after that I raved about my make - up. Oh gosh, I didn't know I could have so much passion for something so superficial. Is this all a waste? haha! Anyway, I did Cha and Clariz' make up and we headed for Cabanas. We met up with the "boys" (men?) there.
The movie - I so loved it I almost wanted to jump from my seat and give a standing ovation. Basta.. not in the mood to do a review, but I think the graphics and effects are enough reasons to go see this movie. So go! IMAX or 3d if you could. It will be well worth it.
(used my phone's camera here. sayang.)
8. High School Habit Remake

I'd rather not say anything about this picture. haha. These are some of my friends in UP. Yun lang.
I also met up with two other friends that day. After school, I got a text message from Melvin and Myzha asking me where I was. Short version - I ended up "forcing" them to break their "diets" to eat fries with me in McDonald's.
7. Until Morning
I dreamt of Christian that night. It was a simple dream. After three years, I was suddenly flooded by the same emotions I felt the day of the accident. I told Big about my dream. And somehow, I was relieved. Relieved that tears still well up even after three long years. I was reminded of how great an impact Xian was in my life.
Things would've been very different if he were still here.
(He got this toy from a 711 promo.)

3. Stolen Fantasy

I've been fantasizing about these. Either these or Shu Uemura Curlers. I almost bought a pair of these last year but I can't bring myself to spend more than a thousand pesos for an eyelash curler. I was hysterical when I found out that my mom got the Shiseido curler as a gift last Christmas. I stole it from her! haha
1. Patching Up the Past

The paint on a wall in my room had been peeled off bit by little bit. I have put up photos on it a couple of years ago of family, friends and pets! But I got tired of it. When I put down that "memory wall" I peeled the paint with the photos. This year, I decided to patch that wall up with photos from my fashion magazine. This is how it turned out.
365 Project
I heard about this when I was listening to Chico on the radio. (Chico of RX) I'm not sure if he pushed through with this because according to him he has a tendency to be OC. So posting a picture per day might be taxing for him.
Since I am rarely OC, and since I have a camera phone, I think this could very well work. But we'll see. I'll make sure I take a photo each day but I'm not too certain I could post them every single day.
According to the site, this would be a great way to document things happening to us everyday. Also, this project would, in one way or another, help nurture my creativity. naks!
So let's get started.

Obsessions
A friend from way back sent me a text message during the holidays. He actually asks how I am every so often. And I almost always fail to reply. But as always, he got me thinking about writing. He asked, “Do you still write?”. I told him I rarely have the time to do so and that I was a bit apprehensive to put my thoughts out in the open as haters usually find themselves reading and commenting on my blogs. He said I should continue writing because I write well. He even told me to submit an article to a column we both have been avid readers of. So here I am, inspired to blog because I found out there’s still at least one person in the whole world who believes I could express myself well through words. To my friend, thank you.
Anyway, my holiday vacation was jam packed! I met up with friends, helped out my mom with her personalized gifts for her friends, attended a lot of parties and of course, I shopped.
Unknown to people, I have this tendency to obsess. And this year I have been obsessed with a. shoes and b. make – up and beauty products. I know, I could be vain and I am admittedly maarte so let me just go through my year through these obsessions.
Shoes. It was mostly about fashion. This year Seventeen Magazine PH stopped publishing issues. I was left staring at the magazine stands wondering which magazine to buy instead. In my desperation (haha), I think I bought Mega. It was a high end fashion magazine, most of which contents I could never ever buy. When my friend saw me lugging around that magazine, she suggested Preview. She told me that it was more “consumer friendly”. So I have been buying Preview ever since.
Preview magazine is different from Seventeen or Cosmo because it mostly is about fashion. From Preview I rekindled my love for fashion. What was even more fantastic is that my mom is a clothe-junkie. (If there’s such a word.) She has sooo much clothes! She has clothes in my closet, in my sister’s closet, in my brother’s closet, in my dad’s closet, she has a clothe rack in the family room, in the dressing room downstairs and lots and lots of clothes tucked away in a bodega here in our house. These clothes she would only wear once and then she’d move on to another piece of garment. So clothes were never a problem for me. Even if I do not buy clothes, I’d live. Shoes, however, was a different story. My mom only has eyes for comfortable, granny looking shoes. She rarely wears high heels. And I needed high heels. And so the start of an obsession which left me broke for most part of the year. I’ve acquired a lot of pairs of heels and I think I’ve fallen in love with wedges. :sigh: Let’s go to Liliw! Haha
Make – up. I can’t recall how I got into this addiction. Oh I think it was because my tita
became a Mary Kay “dealer” (yun ba tawag sa kanila?). And I could get make – up either for free or for a discounted price. Before I thought a foundation, a blush and a lipgloss is all it takes. Oh gosh was I dead wrong! There are hundreds of different brushes, thousands of gorgeous shades of eye shadows, numerous liners to try. I also discovered make – up bases, foundation primers, eye primer, concealers … ok I’ll stop now.. haha! I have more make – up to last me a lifetime. But I want more. I need a kabuki brush, a contour palette and a good make – up remover. I have yet to try brands like Benefits, Make Up Forever and Urban Decay.
Prediction for this year: Ade will be broke.
